"Ballenas" symbolizes the movement of migrating whales along the coast. A connection between two beings.
Two elements create this massive kinetic sculpture that gracefully moves with the wind.
"Ballenas" was originally commissioned by the Port of San Diego for the Urban Tree Program exhibit 2007. After the exhibit, "Ballenas" was installed as the anchor sculpture at Plaza el Segundo mall in California, where it welcomed visitors for several years.
